Tin Can (supply holder/jewelry box)
This tin can was used to hold chocolate peppermint bark but now it is going to be used to for my art supplies (I'm sure you have extra Christmas tins laying around). A lot of the same supplies used in the candle holder below are the same for this project.
1. Paper- any colors, preferably papers that wont bleed.
2. Mod Podge.
3. Scissors.
4. Paint brush.
5. Your own creative designs like my heart and banner or use magazine clippings.

6. Tin can.
First you need to come up with a design that you want to have on you your tin. My design is very basic but I'm sure there are some real artists out there who can come up with some amazing things. You can decorate the top, or the entire area if you like. You may even want to glue fabric in the inside if it will be used for jewelery.
Second, make sure that you have all the paper pieces laid out before you start to glue.
Third, glue down and cover your art with the Mod Podge and let the first layer dry before you place a second layer.

Pickle Jar ( Candle holder or Vase)
Using an empty pickle jar ( make sure to clean out the jar in warm water to get rid of the smell) you can easily create your own creative vase or a candle holder.
Supplies:
1. Pickle Jar, or any other recyclable glass you might throw away.
2. Tissue Paper, the kind you get when you buy clothing or use to wrap gifts.
3. Mod Podge. I used the gloss-lustre, but you could use the regular one.
4. Scissors
5. Stencils, or you can just freehand your own designs.
6. Sponge Brush. The tissue paper is very delicate so be sure to use a sponge or your hands.
First, you need to cut out all the tissue paper you will use in your design.
Second, place some glue on the jar then place the tissue on top of it.
Third, place more glue on the top of the tissue paper.
Please be very careful while gluing the tissue paper, it tends to tear if you pull tightly or put too much glue.

Also, using tissue paper will allow the candle light to shine through...thicker paper may not work.
Lastly, I would recommend letting the first layer dry before you do a second layer.
Ideas: You could do a red white and blue theme for the Fourth of July for a fabulous evening picnic outside. You can also tie a ribbon on the rim to make it more decorative.
Please let me know if you have any other ideas.

Say excuse me!
I was in the dressing room at a department store this weekend when a lady called up her Boyfriend/Husband to ask to go somewhere. When he said no she started to cuss him out, I think every other word was F88k babe..It went on for like a minute. After all that her son burps and she says "that's gross, say excuse me" I'm wondering why he didnt learn to respect people and not be rude in the first place????
